An interactive installation combining sound, music and visuals, created in collaboration with Musician Tara Franks and Visual Artist Lucy Steggals. Working with Archeox, a group of volunteer archaeologists based in Oxford and taking the Matrix (inspired by the Harris Matrix) as a starting point, we explored how an archaeological dig is tracked, recorded and logged.

We recorded (with the help of the volunteers) visually and sonically the unique momentum/ rhythm of the archeological activity. By setting parameters, we chose 25 key words that the group felt reflected these activities.

Responding by translating these words and the collected data into an immersive environment which function was to give the audience a feeling of these multi layered processes in a non linear way.
